2026 Festivals

Bradford on Avon Walking Festival

The 2026 Walking Festival will be held on the weekend of Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of September. More information

Bookings now open for festival walks and events.

Wessex Wanderer Railway Walks are supporting this event by leading a joint walk on Friday 4th September - Beautiful River Avon and River Frome Valleys

Welcome to Stonehouse Walking Festival

We are looking forward to our 7th festival from 4-13th September 2026.

We will once again be celebrating the wide range of scenic walks possible around the Stonehouse area, also showcasing some walks having added specialised interest. The Festival offers free, guided group walks, including: level field and woodland footpaths, gently rolling fields, scenic views, canal, river and rail trails, walks for restricted mobility, family fun walk, history walk, tree walks, picnics, pub and cafe stops. Somer Valley Walking Festival

The Annual Somer Valley Walking Festival takes place from 11th to 13th September 2026. The Ramblers will be taking the lead on Sunday 13th September. We have put together a programme of walks which we hope will suit walkers with a range of preferences.

We would be delighted to see Ramblers from across the Avon Area and hope it provides groups with walks to pop onto their programmes. This year the walks will start at Radstock which is accessible easily from Bath by bus. Car Parking is free at Radstock on Sundays.

As usual, tea/coffee and cake will be served at the end of each walk.
