A bright and enjoyable walk lead by Cathy, before the Christmas Lunch. Setting off from the Anchor Pub, Oldbury, through parts of Oldbury on Severn some of have not been to before, past the Roman Cottages and the Fort or camp known as ‘the Toot’ and along to the Severn Estuary. We walked along the side of the estuary with clear views over the river and the two Bridges before returning to the Anchor having built up an appetite for a hearty lunch.

As ever, good company, good conversations, enjoyable views and a fine meal afterwards to round off the year. Thanks for leading the walk Cathy and thanks to Gill for organising the meal. Wendy S
