Can you help run Severnside Ramblers?

We offer a number of opportunities to volunteer as walk leaders and other roles which are essential for the smooth running of the Group. 

Group Committee

The Committe meets three or four times a year to ensure the smooth running of the group. Any group member may stand for election to the committee in a specific role or as a general member at the AGM which takes place in November each year. 

Walk Leaders 

Have you thought about leading walks for Severnside?

More than anything else, the growing numbers in the Severnside Group are due to the number and variety of great walks that we offer our members. We rely entirely upon group members offering to lead walks. Our WalkLeaders page aims to provide help for walk leaders, whether prospective or established.

Without walks we don’t have a walking group.

We are always keen to have new walk leaders come forward and if you are not yet fully confident, we can provide a walk leader training event, or can find someone experienced to help you. Routes can be based upon your own knowledge, a study of  the map or from a book. For more information please contact Christine Turner.
